We are just a few hours away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Since both phones have leaked entirely, the focus of the leaksters has now shifted over to Samsung's next flagship already. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will launch alongside the Galaxy S23 and the S23+ in Q1 of 2023. Recently, information about the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s chipset, battery, and rear camera setup was leaked. Now, its model number has been revealed.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra's codename is ‘DM3', and its model number is SM-S918. More model numbers—SM-S918BDS, SM-S918U, SM-S918U1, and SM-S918W—are all associated with the same phone. Model numbers or codenames do not reveal much about the device, but it is a start. In the coming days, more information about the Galaxy S23 lineup will start to appear.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is speculated to be Samsung's first smartphone to feature a 200MP camera. It could have a QHD+ Super AMOLED LTPO display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumors indicate that it will have a 40MP autofocus selfie camera and have a 5,000mAh battery.
