Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 series on January 17, and the three phones in the lineup are expected to get several new features powered by AI. Some of those features have leaked over the past few weeks, but there are more features that have yet to be revealed. Now, some more AI-powered features have leaked.

AI-powered One UI 6.1 features for Galaxy S24

According to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, the Galaxy S24 series will get Browsing Assist AI and AI-powered slow-motion video creation features. One UI 6.1 will bring three features to the Browsing Assist AI suite, including the ability to highlight the important things on a webpage, the ability to translate language, and the ability to create a summary of a webpage or an article. These features can help improve your productivity and shorten the time it takes to complete any day-to-day task, such as reading articles and understanding them.

The report also claims that the built-in Gallery app on One UI 6.1 would be able to compress any video that's being played. You can also select any part of a video and create a slow-motion version of it without the need for a separate app. How well this feature works remains to be seen, though, and we will know more about it during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event.

More AI-powered features will debut with the Galaxy S24 series and One UI 6.1. Some of those features include note summarization in Samsung Notes, real-time language translation during calls, wallpaper generator, and AI-generated effects for the lock screen wallpaper. The phones may also allow you to erase things from images and videos.
