The new software update is now available for factory-unlocked units of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. It comes with firmware version S92xU1UEU1AXCB and has a pretty big download size. So, it would be better if you download the update using a Wi-Fi network.

With this update, Samsung says that it has improved the following things about the Galaxy S24's cameras:

  1. Improved white balance accuracy and exposure.
  2. Improved low-light image quality.
  3. Improved color accuracy in the ExpertRAW camera app. It will come with a separate update to the ExpertRAW app.
  4. Better text clarity in high-range zoom shots.
  5. Instant Slow Mo feature will get support for videos with 480×480 pixels resolution.

The update also brings the April 2024 security patch that fixes security vulnerabilities found in the previous software versions. You can check for the update by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

With this update, Samsung has fixed most of the issues that were found in the Galaxy S24 series. The rest of the minor issues could be fixed with the next few updates.
