More tidbits of information about the upcoming Galaxy S24 series are emerging as we get closer to the official Unpacked event. And according to a new rumor, the Galaxy S24 lineup might boast improved touchscreen responsiveness.
The touchscreen response speed for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra is reportedly more than 10% higher than on previous models (via @UniverseIce).
In theory, this improvement in response time will make One UI feel snappier and more connected to the user's input and should complement the 120Hz refresh rate nicely. It may also lead to a better S Pen experience for the only model that supports the input device, i.e., the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Offering the best AMOLED screen to date
Samsung appears to have really upped its display game for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. Aside from this improved responsiveness, rumors also say that the Galaxy S24 series is equipped with Super AMOLED 2X displays that have LTPO backplanes and are made with M13 materials.

Furthermore, if previous leaks turn out to be accurate, the Galaxy S24 series will have the brightest Super AMOLED 2X displays to date. The entire lineup, including the base, Plus, and Ultra models, may boast AMOLED panels capable of reaching 2,600 nits of brightness. In contrast, the Galaxy S23 series' displays top out at 1,750 nits.
The Galaxy S24 series will be announced on January 17 at Unpacked in San Jose, California. Those interested in buying the flagship can reserve it right now and benefit from discounts and other bonuses later this month. Hit the “Reserve” button below for details.
