The Galaxy S24 might be one of the best smartphones for business customers, as it employs new AI features like Chat Assist, Summarize, Auto-Format, Interpreter, AI Live Translation, and others, all of which can help potentially help the workflow of enterprise users. It only makes sense for Samsung to release an official Enterprise Edition Galaxy S24.
As of this writing, the Enterprise Edition treatment is available for customers in Germany exclusively for the base Galaxy S24 model with 128GB of storage in Onyx Black.
The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra are not yet offered as Enterprise Edition devices in Germany, but this may change at any moment. Likewise, we expect the Enterprise Edition S24 to become available in more markets outside Germany soon.
Samsung says “The Galaxy S24 with Galaxy AI supports many routines, but also new tasks that we have to deal with in everyday work. We are firmly convinced that our new AI functions will noticeably relieve users and make them more productive than before.”
Aside from AI, the Galaxy S24 Enterprise Edition offers the usual Knox Suite, which is a fantastic service for administrators as it helps them keep devices and device fleets healthy, secure, and updated.
Great hardware and long-term security
The Galaxy S24 Enterprise Edition shares the same hardware as the standard version, including an Exynos 2400 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of brightness.
The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charging. And customers who might be needing cameras get a triple primary setup with 8K recording capabilities, consisting of a 50MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto shooter. There's also a 12MP selfie camera with Dual Pixel Phase Detection Auto Focus.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S24 ships with the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update and will be supported with seven major OS upgrades and seven years of security patches. So, AI aside, the Galaxy S24 can be a long-term investment for enterprise customers for the extended software support alone, as it will receive new security updates for nearly a decade.
