Galaxy S24’s July 2024 security update reaches more regions

Yesterday, Samsung released the July 2024 security patch to the carrier-unlocked versions of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Now, the company is rolling out the same security update to the international variants of the three smartphones, which carry model numbers SM-S921B, SM-S926B, and SM-S928B.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI

The new software update for the international variants of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra change their firmware versions to S921BXXS3AXFE, S926BXXS3AXFE, and S928BXXS3AXFE respectively. At the moment, it is live in Europe. The July 2024 security patch it brings, offers fixes for 58 security vulnerabilities.

How to download the July 2024 security patch on Galaxy S24?

Your Galaxy S24 will notify you about the latest security update as soon as it becomes available for your device. You can then follow the instructions on the screen to download and install it. If you don’t get a notification in a couple of days, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install.

You can also download the new firmware from our database and install it manually using the Odin software on a Windows PC. On a related note, Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy S24 series phones will get One UI 6.1.1 by the end of this year. It will bring many Galaxy AI-powered features for editing images, translating content, and more.
