Galaxy S24 owners have had a good time trying out the One UI 7 beta so far, but an issue has popped up with the Now Bar that's preventing users from following sports scores on the lock screen. In case you've not heard yet, the Now Bar is a dynamic element that surfaces information based on your interests and usage.

Its widget can pull in scores when your favorite teams are playing and display it in a widget on the lock screen. This feature has been working very well on the Galaxy S25 since it comes with stable One UI 7 out of the box, but it's broken on the beta version for the Galaxy S24.

Luckily, this issue is only going to need a simple software fix

The Now Bar pulls this data from Google's Sports feed. It's not displaying the data even when users follow the teams and enable this feature in Google Discover. The widget shows absolutely nothing on the lock screen even when everything has been configured as it should be.

This feature is reportedly working fine on all of the other Galaxy devices that are compatible with the One UI 7 beta, so evidently the issue is limited to the Galaxy S24. No amount of troubleshooting, from clearing the cache for the Google app to even switching accounts helps.

Since the feature is working on every other device, it's simply needs a software fix, one that should be forthcoming. Samsung rolled out the latest One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 just two days ago, and it's likely going to be the last one. The company has confirmed that it's going to start rolling out the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series from April 7.
