No matter how unfinished a piece of software may be, you would expect something as basic as capturing screenshots to work without issues. But that wasn't the case on the One UI 7.0 beta firmware that Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra owners in some countries have been using since the beginning of this month.
The issue was a simple one: users noticed that screenshots weren't being captured instantly and there was a tiny bit of lag in the process. Well, with the second beta update that rolled out on December 16, Samsung has addressed the issue. Screenshots are now captured instantly following a short and smooth animation.
This issue was simple enough that it didn't get a mention in the official changelog. The changelog focuses on more important issues, such as intermittent device restarts when a power saving mode was active and wireless DeX not working on some TVs.
