If you are a Galaxy S24 user hoping to use stable One UI 7.0 on your phone soon, here is some potentially bad news. You might have to wait at least a few months to get the stable One UI 7.0 update.

Galaxy S24 could get three more One UI 7.0 beta updates

Samsung has already revealed that it plans to release the fourth One UI 7.0 update to the Galaxy S24 series next week. Tipsters have now claimed that Samsung will release two more One UI 7.0 beta updates. That means there are a total of six beta updates.

According to @tarunvats33, the fifth beta update will be released to the Galaxy S24 in March 2025, while the sixth beta update will be released in April 2025. So, you are potentially looking at a time frame of late April 2025 for the release of the stable One UI 7.0 update.

  • Beta 4: February 2025
  • Beta 5: March 2025
  • Beta 6: April 2025

If this information is true, older and more affordable Galaxy phones and tablets will likely receive the One UI 7.0 update even later. By the time Samsung is done rolling out the One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update, Google will be close to releasing the stable Android 16 update.

Google usually releases a new version of Android in the third quarter (Q3) of the year. Based on that software, Samsung usually releases a new (stable) One UI update in the fourth quarter (Q4) of that year.

This year, though, Samsung delayed the release of a new version of One UI by at least four months, and the update could be released at least two more months from now. The company hinted that it had to delay the release of One UI 7.0 due to the major changes it incorporated this year.

In any case, the South Korean firm has already angered many Galaxy users by delaying the release of the One UI 7.0 update, and the additional delay will only increase their dissatisfaction.
