Samsung has received a tremendous response to its first AI phone, the Galaxy S24. After it was unveiled on January 17, the smartphone series became available for pre-order in several parts of the world, and it has been a massive hit as far as the pre-order period goes. In fact, the Galaxy S24 seems to have surpassed Samsung's best-selling high-end smartphone, the Galaxy Note 10, in terms of pre-orders.

Galaxy S24 breaks pre-order records in South Korea, surpassing Galaxy Note 10

The South Korean firm announced that it received 1.21 million pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 in one week following the pre-order period opened on January 19 in South Korea. That is an average of 173,000 pre-orders per day, far exceeding the per-day pre-orders it received for the Galaxy Note 10 series. This is the highest number of pre-orders that Samsung's high-end Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series have ever received. Previously, the pre-order record for Samsung phones was for the Galaxy Note 10, which received 125,000 per-orders per day during its 11-day pre-order period. That makes the Galaxy S24's pre-order numbers 38% higher than the Galaxy Note 10's.

Samsung claimed that its stores, including Samsung Gangnam, were crowded following the announcement of the Galaxy S24. Following such massive success, Samsung has extended the end of the pre-order period from January 31 to February 8. Samsung is offering various pre-order benefits for the Galaxy S24 series. One of the benefits includes a free storage upgrade. If you pay for the equivalent of the 256GB version of any Galaxy S24 series phone, you will get the 512GB version of the smartphone.

Even in India, the Galaxy S24 series broke pre-booking records, receiving over 250,000 pre-orders within three days. This far exceeds the pre-orders that Samsung received for the Galaxy S23. It received 250,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series in three weeks, while the Galaxy S24 reached there in just three days. In other markets, Samsung has also received improved pre-order figures for the Galaxy S24 series.
