Earlier today, Samsung revealed its financial results for the second quarter of this year. In its press note, the South Korean firm confirmed that Galaxy S24 sales continue to eclipse those of the Galaxy S23, which is a very positive sign for the company.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI

Galaxy S24 sales higher than Galaxy S23 since launch

According to Samsung's press release, the sales of the Galaxy S24 series have achieved “double-digit year-on-year growth in both shipments and revenue” over sales of the Galaxy S23 series. The company claimed that sales of its newest flagship Galaxy S series have been higher than the Galaxy S23 in the first and second quarters of this year.

This means higher sales of the Galaxy S24 series weren't restricted to just the launch phase. More people have continued buying Galaxy S24 series phones months after the launch, which could mean people have liked what the Galaxy S24 has to offer. However, it isn't clear if it is Galaxy AI that has pushed people into buying Samsung's new phones or a combination of reliable hardware, long-term software support, and Galaxy AI.

According to a report from Hana Financial Securities, Galaxy S23 sales reached 31.1 million in a year since launch. If Galaxy S24 sales continue to eclipse Galaxy S23 sales, the figure might reach 35 million by early next year.
