Even though the Galaxy S23 series is often in the headlines thanks to the One UI 6.0 beta update, it won't be long before the sequels will steal the spotlight. Samsung is working on the Galaxy S24 series, presumably for an early 2024 release. And as we're nearing the end of August, we are now able to confirm some of the Galaxy S24 series' storage specifications.
The Galaxy S24 series might not hold any surprises regarding storage. The Ultra model will top out at 1TB of storage. And we can also confirm that the base Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ will not enjoy this luxury. They will offer a maximum of 512GB of storage, similar to the Galaxy S23 and S23+.

The Galaxy S24 series might stand out through other means
While storage options may not differ much next year, the Galaxy S24 series might distance itself from the 2023 models in other ways. To begin with, some rumors suggest that Exynos might be back and the Galaxy S24 won't exclusively use a Snapdragon chip.
Other rumors also say that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will have flat frames, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra could boast a titanium mid-frame and a flat display with no pixels wrapping around the side edges. This should make it friendlier to the S Pen.
At the end of the day, the Korean tech giant will probably want to impress Galaxy S fans with some design changes and hardware upgrades for the Galaxy S24 series, but storage capacities won't be anything out of the ordinary.
Samsung hasn't revealed any release plans for its upcoming flagship series, but the trio will likely be announced at a new Galaxy Unpacked event in January or February 2024. The event's location is unknown. The previous Galaxy Unpacked, where the 5th-gen foldable phones were unveiled, took place in South Korea for the first time.
