Samsung is expected to bring several improvements with the Galaxy S24 series. The Ultra model in the lineup is rumored to feature a new camera, while the base and Plus models are expected to get thinner bezels and a more power-efficient screen. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also rumored to have a change in its design and build.

It was rumored that the Galaxy S24 Ultra would feature a titanium alloy frame, making it more durable than other phones that use the aluminum frame. Tipster Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a flat-screen design, unlike its predecessors, which have a curved screen on the left and right edges. A flat-screen is beneficial for the phone for a couple of reasons. It would be easier to use the S Pen towards the edges of the screen if it is flat. Several S Pen fans have been requesting Samsung to make this move. Another advantage would be access to cheaper and more effective screen protectors.

The tipster also claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm, which makes it thinner and shorter than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, if these measurements are accurate, the upcoming phone appears to be wider than its predecessor. It means the bezels on the sides of the screen could be thicker. Whether or not this turns out to be true remains to be seen. Previous reports claimed that the display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra can reach a peak brightness of more than 2,200 nits (compared to 1,750 nits on the Galaxy S23 Ultra).

It is also rumored that the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 12MP selfie camera, a 200MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 10MP telephoto camera (10x optical zoom). The phone is expected to launch in two variants: one with the Exynos 2400 processor and the other with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will have 12GB RAM in 256GB and 512GB variants and 16GB RAM in 1TB version. It could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have 45W fast charging.
