We're only a couple of months away from the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. So surprises then that we're now increasingly seeing rumors and leaks about this device. In the previous week, we also saw the first alleged hands-on images of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Earlier rumors had suggested that the Galaxy S24 Ultra may have an entirely flat display panel like the other devices in the series. However, if fresh information out of South Korea is to be believed, there may still be a minor curve to the panel after all.
Galaxy S24 Ultra display panel may still be slightly curved
So goes the rumor posted on X which claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will not have a completely flat display panel. There will be a noticeable curvative of 0.3-0.4mm on the bezel. While that's hardly groundbreaking, it may still give you that feeling in the hand that the display isn't completely flat.
The sizes of the top and bottom bezels are said to be the same while they're claimed to be half as big as those of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. If that's indeed true, it would mean that the bezels will be considerably slimmer than any other Samsung flagship. The left and right bezels are claimed to be the same size as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, though.
There's obviously no way to quantify this information until we see actual renders of the Galaxy S24 Ultra appear online. Given how Samsung's product launches play out, it may not be long before we see the first official marketing renders being leaked online.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S24 series at an Unpacked event on January 17, 2024 in San Jose, California.
