The Galaxy S24 Ultra was Samsung's first smartphone that uses a titanium frame for added strength. It was also the company's first smartphone with Gorilla Glass Armor, a special display protection panel that also offers anti-reflective properties for a glare-free experience.
While it uses the same 200MP primary camera as its predecessor, it brought an upgraded telephoto camera (50MP with 5x optical zoom) and a 12MP selfie camera for improved imaging. It was also Samsung's first phone to come with a promise of getting Android OS updates for seven years.
Those are some impressive features, but the most talked about feature of the Galaxy S24 Ultra was Galaxy AI, Samsung's suite of AI-powered features that are helpful in the user's day-to-day life.
The phone has held up exceptionally well. There were a few hiccups, but overall, Samsung has managed to keep the Galaxy S24 Ultra relevant, especially with the mid-year One UI 6.1 update that brought more refined Galaxy AI and other One UI features.
