One of the highlights of the Galaxy S24 series is Galaxy AI, a suite of AI-powered features that can help you with many tasks, including researching, editing photos, writing, and translating content from one language to another. Surprisingly, the most widely used AI-powered feature from that suite on the Galaxy S24 lineup doesn’t come from the South Korean tech giant. Instead, it comes from Google, and the latest news comes directly from Samsung.
In a press release about expanding the availability of Galaxy AI, Samsung says that Google’s Ciricle to Search is the most widely used AI feature on the Galaxy S24 series. “Circle to Search with Google revolutionized the way users search, helping it become the most widely used AI feature amongst Galaxy S24 users. It allows them to learn more about almost anything on their screens quickly with a simple gesture, without having to switch apps.”
As you might know, Circle to Search allows you to research about anything on the display by drawing a circle around it. The feature made its debut with the Galaxy S24 lineup of smartphones. Later, Google made it available to Pixel devices, and yesterday, Samsung started rolling it out to many of the company’s high-end smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 lineup with One UI 6.1.
