Samsung made its latest flagship smartphones — Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra — available to purchase in many regions around the world on 7 February 2025. It has been 21 days since then. Within this short timeframe, the brand has reportedly sold one million units of the three phones combined in South Korea.
With that, the Galaxy S25 series becomes Samsung’s fastest lineup of devices to reach the one million units sales figure in its home country. The previous holder of this record was the Galaxy Note 10 series. Back then, the company sold one million units of the lineup in 25 days. The latest phones reached the milestone four days earlier.
According to Korea's ET News, the main selling point of the new smartphones was their design, performance, and Galaxy AI. New Galaxy AI Subscription Club, which makes it easier for people to upgrade to a newer phone, is also said to have contributed to the sales significantly.
Among the ones who bought the Galaxy S25 series, about 50% chose the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Titanium Whitesilver and Titanium Silverblue were the most popular colors of the phone. As for the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+, Silver Shadow and Ice Blue were their most popular colors.
