A video published on YouTube channel 더신자 TheSINZA has showcased just how slim the Galaxy S25 Edge will be by putting it side-by-side with a Galaxy S25 Ultra. While Samsung already revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge earlier this year, it hasn't allowed anyone to touch the device yet.
The maker of the YouTube video doesn't have the actual device either, but they have managed to procure a dummy unit that looks exactly like the real deal. The Galaxy S25 Edge is supposed to have a 5.84mm profile, which is mind bogglingly thin, and seeing it next to a Galaxy S25 Ultra—which is 8.2mm thick—really drives the point home.
When does Samsung plan to stop giving the Galaxy S25 Edge the see-it-but-don't-touch-it treatment? The device is slated to launch sometime next month and hit retail shelves in May, so hopefully soon.
Just don't expect it to go on sale worldwide on day one. Samsung will reportedly have a small initial production run of 40,000 units, so the S25 Edge may be available in very few countries in the first few months.
