That initial update carried firmware version S93xNKSU1AYB3, but the same build didn't make it into other markets. Now, Samsung is rolling out the first Galaxy S25 update into more regions. This time, it carries firmware version S93xBXXU1AYB4 (via @tarunvats33).
As of this writing, the update's availability has been confirmed in the UAE and India, but it's likely rolling out in other regions as well. In essence, the international rollout for the first Galaxy S25 firmware update appears to have begun.
The firmware is only a little larger than 666MB, and the version number suggests it's more than just a security patch. The update for Korea had a size of 585.9MB. This newer international build may contain more fixes or slightly different data.
Some Galaxy S25 users have previously complained about Camera issues after they applied the first update in Korea. This newer version may have addressed those problems, but we'll let you know if we find out more.
As a side note and reminder, the Galaxy S25 is the first Samsung flagship to support A/B partitions, i.e., seamless updates. If this is your first experience with this feature, you will notice that the update screen has a dual progress bar, and the update will install faster without getting stuck on the boot up screen too long.
