Yesterday, we learned that the camera rings of the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ will have a highly unusual design. Now, a popular tipster reveals the thickness of the Galaxy S25’s camera rings. Let’s take a look.
On X, @UniverseIce reveals that the thickness of Galaxy S25’s camera rings will be 1.8mm. In comparison, the depth of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera lens will be 2.4mmm and that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s camera hump is 4.3mm. It means that the camera rings of the Galaxy S25 will be 2.3 times thinner than those of Apple’s latest flagship phone.
Earlier today, we also learned that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s display bezels will be thinner than those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. We are hoping that Samsung will offer the same improvement with the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+. However, the company could skip doing that to keep the cost of the non-Ultra phones in check.
Considering all the leaks and rumors surrounding the design of the Galaxy S25 series, there is no doubt that Samsung is trying to make the upcoming devices more compact, more comfortable to hold, and better looking than their rivals. All we need to know now is if it will choose the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or the Exynos 2500 for the vanilla and Plus models.
