At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, which has three devices, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Along with that, the brand showcased a fourth device in the lineup, the Galaxy S25 Edge. The company neither revealed its details nor allowed anyone to touch it. As such, many things about the phone are a mystery. One of them is its build.

While Samsung touted the Galaxy S25 Edge will be very slim, it didn’t say anything about the material its frame is made of. Last month, we exclusively reported that it will be made out of aluminum, and most likely, it will be Armor Aluminum, and that its back panel will use ceramic material for better durability. Well, a popular tipster from China, Ice Universe, claims something totally different.

According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Edge’s frame will be made out of titanium alloy, similar to that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If that turns out to be true, it may be more premium than we had imagined, and it will pull more people towards the phone. That’s not all though.

Galaxy S25 Edge to have a screen with a 2K resolution

The tipster claims that the Galaxy S25 Edge’s screen will have a 2K resolution (we are assuming that they are referring to a 3,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution). That isn’t surprising considering that the Galaxy S25+, which has a similar screen size, also has the same resolution.

This month, we learned about the phone’s battery capacity, color options, storage variants, and pricing for Europe, and, details about its processor. Reportedly, Samsung will launch it in India as well. Sadly, Samsung has still not revealed when it will launch the phone.
