The only camera hardware upgrade that the Galaxy S25 Ultra introduced is its 50MP ultrawide camera. It offers more details than the 12MP ultrawide cameras used in Samsung's previous-generation flagship phones. However, that camera seems to be facing shaking and vibrating issues on some units.

Galaxy S25 Ultra ultrawide camera facing issues like shaking, vibrating

Multiple Galaxy S25 Ultra users have posted on social media forums (Reddit and X) and Samsung's Community Forum (via TechIssuesToday) that their phone's camera is shaking, vibrating, and making stuttering noises while using the ultrawide (0.6x) camera.

All this shaking and vibrating is clearly visible through the phone's viewfinder, and makes the camera unusable. Some users claimed that the issue appeared only after a recent software update.

As you can see in the video posted here, the camera seems to be shaking violently. And to us, the issue seems to be with the camera's autofocus mechanism. Usually, such shaking issues appear when there is a problem with a camera's optical image stabilization (OIS) unit, but since the 50MP ultrawide camera on the Galaxy S25 Ultra lacks OIS, the issues is likely related to autofocus.

The issues doesn't seem to be very widespread, as only some people have complained about it and millions of Galaxy S25 series phones have been sold globally. Some users said they took their phone to an authorized service center and the issue was identified as a hardware-related problem and that their phone was fixed for free.

Hopefully, Samsung manages to find the root cause of this issue soon and makes a change in its software and replaces the camera hardware on affected Galaxy S25 Ultra units.
