As usual, Samsung is expected to unveil its next flagship smartphone early next year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to bring major changes in both hardware and software. One of those changes includes the look of the rear-facing camera system. We now have a closer look at it.

Galaxy S25 Ultra's quad-camera setup looks slightly different

The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a quad-camera setup, similar to its predecessor, but there will be some changes in the hardware and the looks. As you can see in the concept image by Technizo Concept at the start of this article, all the rear cameras will have metal rings around their lenses. You can also see a plastic portion with a concentric circle pattern sandwiched between the lens and the metal ring. The phone also has an LED flash, which is placed between the 3x telephoto camera and the laser autofocus unit.

The phone has completely flat metal sides. Since the Galaxy S24 Ultra features titanium side rails, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could use the same material. The biggest difference between the two phones is the latter's slightly rounded corners. It should offer more comfort while holding the phone. In comparison, all phones from the Galaxy S22 Ultra to the Galaxy S24 Ultra have sharp corners that dig into the palms.

Tipster Ice Universe noted that this concept is the closest to reality. So, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely look extremely similar to the image you are seeing above. The tipster also noted that the primary color of the phone will still be Titanium Gray, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The upcoming phone is rumored to feature a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP selfie camera. It is said to come equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The phone could launch with Android 15-based One UI 7.1 software out of the box. It is said to be extremely smooth, customizable, and feature-rich. The device could get seven major Android OS updates.
