Galaxy S phones come in a variety of standard and online-exclusive colors, and every year, Samsung picks one color from the bunch to represent each model. A new report (via @UniverseIce) reveals that Samsung has chosen blue to show off the Galaxy S25 Ultra next month.
Samsung picked the Titanium Gray color for its Galaxy S24 Ultra promotional shots earlier this year. Switching to blue, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly bring more color to the stage at the next Unpacked event.
But just how blue will the Galaxy S25 Ultra be? Luckily, we may already have a fairly accurate idea. Check out the image below.
Above is a photo of the Galaxy S25 Ultra's SIM tray, which leaked a few days ago. While the image mostly shows the unpainted inner part of the SIM tray, the small bit at the bottom might hold the biggest clue. It's blue, and logically, it should color-match the phone's frame — and, to a degree, its back panel.
Based on this data, it looks like the Galaxy S25 Ultra's shade of blue may resemble the Galaxy Z Fold 6's Navy Blue. For good reasons, that's a fairly appreciated color among fans. Here it is for reference.
If you're not a fan of Navy Blue — likely to be called Titanium Blue for the Galaxy S25 Ultra — fret not. We expect the next-gen Ultra phone to be released in three additional standard colors, i.e., Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver.
And as usual, those who order the Galaxy S25 Ultra online may get three extra options exclusive to the Samsung e-shop.
Samsung should unveil the Galaxy S25 series, consisting of the base model, the Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, in January. The rumored date is January 22. The phones should run One UI 7.0, and although the base and Plus variants may look largely unchanged, the Galaxy S25 Ultra should stand out more thanks to its (leaked) redesign.
