Samsung confirms October 7 Galaxy SmartTag 3 release, price still a mystery

Samsung has launched the Galaxy SmartTag 3 today and the company has also confirmed when customers will be able to get their hands on the device.

It's going to have a staggered roll out, and if you're not in one of the markets that it's prioritizing, you may have to wait until next year to get your hands on it.

Samsung has confirmed that it will first release the Galaxy SmartTag 3 in South Korea on October 7. This launch will be followed by the US. A confirmed release date hasn't been provided by the company as yet, but the phrasing suggests that it may be within the month of October.

The company has also confirmed that additional markets will get the SmartTag 3 in 2027. It's safe to say that if you're not living in South Korea or the United States, you won't be able to buy it in your country before next year.

Pricing information hasn't been confirmed as yet, but we should have a sense of how much it costs when the device becomes available on purchase in South Korea next month. Pricing for the United States should be confirmed in due course as well.

The Galaxy SmartTag 3 is being offered in Black and White colors. Samsung will also offer new accessories for the device so that you can easily tag a wide range of items.
