Galaxy Tab Active 3 June 2023 security update: What's new?

The latest software update for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with firmware version T577UVLS5EWE2. The update is available to the LTE version of the tablet in Canada. The new software is currently available on Bell, Chatr, Fido, Rogers, and Videotron networks in the country. It brings the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws found in Galaxy devices. It doesn't bring any new features to the rugged tablet.

If you have an LTE version of the Galaxy Tab Active 3 in Canada, you can now check for the new update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Active 3 in late 2020 with Android 10 onboard. It received the Android 11 update in early 2021 and the Android 12 update in late 2021. The rugged tablet received the Android 13 update late last year. It won't get major Android OS updates anymore.
