After releasing the February 2022 security update to its high-end tablets from last year, Samsung has started rolling out the same update to older devices. The South Korean firm has released the February 2022 security update to the Galaxy Tab Active 3 in Europe and the Galaxy Tab S6 LTE in the US.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with firmware version T575XXU3BVB1. It is available in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South East Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK.
The new update for the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 has been released in the US with firmware version T867USQS7CVB1. This update is available for the carrier-locked models on Sprint and T-Mobile's networks. The February 2022 security patch fixes over 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities found in Samsung's smartphones and tablets. The new update could also include device stability improvements and general bug fixes.
You can update your Galaxy Tab Active 3 or Galaxy Tab S6 to the latest firmware by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. Don't forget to backup your personal data, though.
