Samsung has been swiftly rolling out the July 2022 security patch to its smartphones and tablets. After the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy S22, other devices, including the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, have received the new security patch.
The new security update for the Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with firmware version T540XXS3CVF3. The LTE version of the rugged tablet has started getting the July 2022 update with firmware version T545XXS3CVF3_B2BF in Mexico. The new update fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices.
If you are a Galaxy Tab Active Pro user, you can download the new update by heading to Settings » Sofware update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually if you are familiar with the procedure.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Active Pro three years ago with Android 9 on board. It received the Android 10 update in 2020 and the Android 11 update in 2021. It may not receive the Android 12-based One UI 4 update.
