Earlier this week, Samsung released the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in South Korea. Now, the company is expanding the reach of the update to more countries worldwide. The mid-range tablet is getting the May 2023 security update in more than 60 countries across the world.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite May 2023 security update: Where has it been released?
The latest software update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with firmware version P615XXS5FWD2. It brings the May 2023 security patch that fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy phones and tablets. It doesn't bring any new features, though. The new update is currently available in the following countries and regions:

If you have a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and live in any of the countries listed above, you can check for the new software update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in mid-2020 with Android 10 onboard. The tablet received the Android 11 update in early 2021 and the Android 12 update in late 2021. The Android 13 update for the tablet was released in late 2022.
