Samsung has released the November 2023 security update to two mid-range tablets: Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy Tab Active 3. The former is getting the new security update in Latin America, while the latter is getting the new update across Europe. These are the first tablets getting the new security update.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy Tab Active 3 get November 2023 security update
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is getting the new security update with firmware version P610XXS4FWK1. It is getting the new update in Argentina, and we expect the other Latin American countries to get the new update within the next few days.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is getting the new update with firmware version T575XXS7EWK1. It is available in Austria, Baltic, Bulgaria, Caucasus countries, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the UK, and Ukraine.
What's new in the November 2023 security update?
The November 2023 security patch included in this update fixes 65 security flaws. It doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements. If you have any of these two tablets in the countries mentioned above, respectively, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
The firmware files of these new updates are also available in our firmware database, so if you want to flash the firmware manually, you can download the files from our firmware database and flash them using a Windows PC and the Odin tool. None of these two devices will get the Android 14 update.
