Samsung has released a new security update to the Galaxy Tab S7. The Galaxy Tab S7's May 2024 security update is now available in Europe, and it looks like the update has arrived a bit late, as we are already into the second week of July 2024.
The update went live in the US last week and could be released in other regions soon.
Galaxy Tab S7 May 2024 security update now available in Europe
The new software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series is now available in European countries. The update comes bearing firmware version T875XXS7DXE6 and has a relatively smaller download size. The new software update can now be downloaded on the Galaxy Tab S7 (SM-T875) in the following countries:

- Slovenia
- Russia
- Greece

- Spain
- United Kingdom
- Poland
- Hungary

The new software update includes the May 2024 security patch that fixes 45 security vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software versions. Google and Samsung have collectively fixed these security loopholes, so the Galaxy Tab S7 should now be more secure against attackers.
The Galaxy Tab S7 will not get updated to Android 14 and One UI 6.1. If you want to use the latest version of Android and One UI, you should look to upgrade from your Galaxy Tab S7 to the Galaxy Tab S9. You can watch its review in our video below.
How to install May 2024 security update on Galaxy Tab S7?
If you have a Galaxy Tab S7 and live in any of the countries mentioned in the list above, you can now install the update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download, and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. For that method to work, you would need access to a Windows PC and the Odin tool.
The Galaxy Tab S7 was launched in 2020 with Android 10 onboard. It received the Android 11 update in late 2020, the Android 12 update in late 2021, and the Android 13 update in late 2022.
