While Samsung has released tablets in various colors in the past, most of them come in just two colors. Last year, the company launched its high-end tablets (except Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra) in three color options. Later this year, the company will launch the Galaxy Tab S9 in a new luxurious color.
According to tipster Roland Quandt, the Galaxy Tab S9 will be available in Beige, a color that Samsung has never brought to its tablet lineup. Some older Galaxy Tab devices have been available in Gold, Mystic Bronze, and Pink Gold colors, but none have been available in the Beige color. Beige could be a few shades lighter than Gold, and the Galaxy Tab S9 could look fresh in its Beige avatar. It could look similar to the Starlight color of the Apple iPad Air (2022).
Galaxy Tab S9 features
The Galaxy Tab S9 series will have three models: Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. All three tablets will reportedly have designs similar to their predecessors. However, they will have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, a boon to those who travel a lot or spend their time on a beach or near a pool. All three tablets will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor and have 45W fast charging.
While the base Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S8 have an LCD display, the Galaxy Tab S9 is graduating to an OLED screen. This is a considerable upgrade and excellent for someone who wants an OLED screen without spending too much on higher models. These upcoming tablets will be unveiled in the second half of this year, probably alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
