Samsung has released the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
The update makes the device more secure, and it is the first security update after the One UI 6.1 update released a few weeks ago.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE gets May 2024 security update in Europe
The new software update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is now available in European countries. The update comes with firmware version X516BXXS4BXE2 and has a relatively smaller download size.
It includes the May 2024 security patch that fixes 45 security vulnerabilities that were discovered in the previous software versions.
How to install software update on your Galaxy Tab S9 FE?
If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE and live in Europe, you can check for the new update now. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE was launched in the second half of 2023 with Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 onboard. It received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in late 2023 and the One UI 6.1 update a few weeks ago.
It will likely get the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update in the fourth quarter of this year.
