Aside from three high-end tablets ready to go live at Galaxy Unpacked on July 26, Samsung's also been working on not one but two new Fan Edition tablets. Both were spotted in an online benchmark a few months ago, rocking model numbers SM-X516B and SM-X616B. And now, the so-called Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is finally showing its face in renders for the first time.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a modernized design worthy of standing next to the rest of the Tab S9 series in 2023, and we're assuming the same will be the case for the regular Tab S9 FE. (via @OnLeaks / WolfOfTablet)
The Tab S9 FE+ has two rear-facing cameras instead of one, so for the first time, it looks like the Fan Edition tablet is getting an ultra-wide shooter.
A bigger Fan Edition tablet for 2023
Like the rest of the Tab S9 series, the FE+ carries a magnetic S Pen strip on the back panel. But whether or not this strip will be visible in the final product is to be determined. If the renders are based on case dimensions, this small detail might be a bit off. Time will tell.
According to the old benchmark, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ should be powered by the Exynos 1380 chip developed by Samsung and 8GB of RAM. The Exynos 1380 is currently used in the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy F54 5G.
Other noteworthy specs include a fingerprint scanner, a 12.4-inch display, and stereo speakers. The tablet measures 285.4 x 185.4 x 6.54mm and will supposedly be available in grey, light green, light pink, and silver. Samsung might unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ at the next Unpacked event on July 26.
