Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S9 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26. While the tech world is busy reviewing these premium tablets, Samsung is preparing for the launch of toned-down versions of Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, dubbed the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. This upcoming series includes the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
After recently picking up the SafetyKorea certification, both Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablets were spotted grabbing the FCC certifications. The 5G versions of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ picked up FCC certification a few days ago. Ahead of the launch, the Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has also passed the FCC certification.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE could support 25W fast charging
As per the FCC certification (via MySmartPrice), the Galaxy Tab S9 FE's Wi-Fi variant carries the model number SM-X510. The certification also reveals that this tablet will feature a single rear-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE's Wi-Fi-only model is also being tested with a charger carrying model number EP-TA800, hinting that the tablet could support 25W fast charging support. However, they are expected to go as high as 45W for fast charging. No other details regarding these tablets are available at the moment.
It was previously reported that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE could come with a price tag of INR 63,999 (~770) in India and is expected to sport a 10.9-inch screen. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will have a 12.4-inch screen. Both upcoming tablets are expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, which is as powerful as the Snapdragon 778G.
