Samsung is updating not only its smartphones and tablets today but also its smartwatches. After rolling out the April 2021 security patch to the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A8 (2018), and the Galaxy Tab Active 2, the company has released a new software update for the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Watch 3.
The Galaxy Watch is now receiving a new update with firmware version R810XXU1FUD1. According to the changelog, the smartwatch gets improved Wi-Fi stability and a more stable version of the messaging app. The Galaxy Watch 3 is getting a new update with firmware version R840XXU1BUD1. Going by the update's changelog, Samsung's latest smartwatch gets improved stability of the messaging app, Wi-Fi, and the whole system.
These updates are now rolling out to the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Watch 3 in India. If you haven't received the update for your smartwatch yet, you can manually check for it by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on the connected smartphone, navigating to Watch software update, and tapping on Download and install.
