Two weeks after releasing the fourth beta update, Samsung has released the fifth One UI Watch 4.5 beta update to the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This new software update fixes many bugs and improves the performance of the smartwatches.
The new update has firmware version ending ZVG7 and has a download size of 169.58MB. According to the changelog, the update improves the stabilization of the watch face, fixes permissions issues related to clock and weather complications in the Digital Dashboard watch face, and fixes the problem related to downloaded watch faces not getting recovered.
Some Galaxy Watch 4 users running One UI Watch 4.5 beta were facing force-close issues while using the Together complication. The South Korean firm has fixed that issue with the new update. The company has also fixed the bubble view's compatibility issue with the Line messaging app. During cycling, the display will activate quickly to view the watch face.
Samsung has also improved the accuracy of the built-in Compass app, reduced power consumption, and improved the charging performance of the Galaxy Watch 4 series with the new beta update. To update to the latest beta version, you must install the latest version (2.2.11.220718) of the Galaxy Watch 4 Manager plugin app on your ph0ne.
