Samsung is expected to introduce a great lineup of products, including foldable phones and wearables, next month. It will launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and refreshed Galaxy Buds Pro. The South Korean firm will also take wraps off its next-gen smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and their 3D turntable renders have been leaked, courtesy of Evan Blass (via 91mobiles).
3D renders of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro reveal their design in high resolution and all angles. The Pro variant, which is the costlier version of the smartwatch, looks similar to last year's Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. It is codenamed “Project X”, and it will come in two colors: Black and Grey Titanium. There will be Wi-Fi only and LTE variants of the watch.
The vanilla Galaxy Watch 5, codenamed “Heart”, looks similar to the Galaxy Watch 4. This watch will ship with in Wi-Fi only and LTE variants as well. It will be sold in two sizes and will arrive in more colors than the Pro model. Both Samsung watches will run on Wear OS 3.5-based One UI 4.5 software.
Both smartwatches are expected to feature circular Super OLED displays with Gorilla Glass protection. They will feature an accelerometer, gyro, heart rate monitor, GPS, body composition measurement, and ECG. The Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and replaceable straps.
