The Galaxy Watch 5 comes with a starting price of INR 27,999 for the 40mm Bluetooth version and goes as high as INR 35,999 for the 44mm LTE version. Plus, those who pre-order these new smartwatches can get the Galaxy Buds 2 (originally priced at INR 11,999) for just INR 2,999. Here is the detailed pricing of the Galaxy Watch 5 series in India:

Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro features

The Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro continue to use the same 5nm Exynos W920 dual-core processor that debuted with the Galaxy Watch 4 series last year. Both watches feature circular Super AMOLED displays with Sapphire Glass protection. They come equipped with an accelerometer, barometer, body composition measurement, GPS, gyro, and a heart rate monitor for activity and health tracking.

Apart from heart rate, the watch can also monitor SpO2 levels, sleep quality, stress levels, and VO2 Max. The Galaxy Watch 5 has an aluminum case, while the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro uses a titanium case. Both watches come with silicone straps out of the box, but you can replace them with standard 20mm watch straps. The devices have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance (up to 50mm) and an MIL-STD-810H rating for shock resistance.

Samsung's new smartwatches run the latest Wear OS 3.5 operating system with One UI Watch 4.5. The new version of One UI Watch offers an easier way to dial numbers and type text. It comes with improved watch faces, stock apps, and Google Assistant. They have 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Watch 5 devices feature dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC (for Samsung Pay). The Galaxy Watch 5 offers 50-hour battery life, while the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro could last up to 80 hours on a single charge. Both watches can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes. They support 10W Qi wireless charging through Samsung chargers and compatible smartphones.
