Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Watch 6 series next week. Ahead of the official unveiling, the design of the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic were leaked through 3D CAD-based renders and even official product shots. Now, even more details about the upcoming smartwatches have been revealed, including their sizes and variants.
A new poster, leaked through Samsung's official partner (via BullsLab Jay), reveals the sizes and connectivity variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Galaxy Watch 6 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be sold in 43mm and 47mm sizes. Both smartwatches will be available in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular (LTE) variants.
The leaked image also reveals that Samsung will offer KRW 10,000 worth of gifts to those who buy any of its upcoming smartwatches in South Korea. The poster also mentions July 27 as the official announcement date for the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic specifications
The Galaxy Watch 6 is said to feature a design that's similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 series. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will have a physical rotating bezel, similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Both upcoming smartwatches will reportedly have circular OLED screens that are 20% bigger than the Galaxy Watch 5. They will also use a slightly improved processor, the Exynos W930, which has a slightly higher clock speed.
Reports indicate that the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will have 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 and the 43mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are said to feature a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm Galaxy Watch 6 and the 47mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be powered by a 425mAh battery.
