It has been over two months since the launch of the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra, both of which came pre-installed with the One UI 6 Watch software. However, older Galaxy Watches still haven't received the stable One UI 6 Watch update. Now, Samsung has released another beta version of the One UI 6 Watch update to the Galaxy Watch 6.
Galaxy Watch 6 series gets One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 update in South Korea and USA
Samsung has released the eighth beta version of the One UI 6 Watch update to the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The update is available in South Korea and the USA right now, but it could soon be released in other countries where the Beta Program was opened. The update comes with firmware version ending ZXJ3 and has a download size of around 156MB.
According to the official changelog provided with the update, Samsung has further improved system stability and performance. The company has also reduced power consumption, which directly improves battery life. The update also improves network operability and other issues that were reported with the previous beta version of the software.
The update also brings the October 2024 security patch to both smartwatches.

If you have a Galaxy Watch 6 series device that has been enrolled in the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program, you can check for the new update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone and navigating to Watch settings » Watch software update » Download and install.
Hopefully, this is the last beta version of One UI 6 Watch. If it is, we should see the stable version of the software released to compatible Galaxy Watches before the end of this month.
