Samsung is expected to unveil at least three new Galaxy Watches at its next Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024. Two of those smartwatches are expected to be the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. Now, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra specifications have appeared in a leak.
Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra specs include a 3nm Exynos chip, dual-frequency GPS
According to an exclusive report from AndroidHeadlines, the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra will use a new penta-core Exynos chip with 3nm fabrication. They both have 32GB internal storage, confirming our exclusive report. The smartwatches will also reportedly feature dual-frequency L1 + L5 GPS for improved accuracy for cycling, running, and other outdoor workouts.
The Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, while the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra will be available in just one size: 47mm. The Galaxy Watch 7's OLED screen has 2,000 nits peak brightness, similar to the Galaxy Watch 6. The Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is said to have 3,000 nits peak brightness.
The Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in two colors, including Green, and will have an Armor Aluminum case. It has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, 5ATM pressure resistance, and an MIL-STD-810H compliant design. Its 40mm version has a 300mAh battery, while its 44mm version has a 425mAh battery.
The Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra will be available in three colors (including Titanium Grey). It will reportedly feature a Grade 4 Titanium case, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and 10ATM pressure resistance. It has three physical buttons: Back, Home, and Quick Button. It will reportedly be powered by a 590mAh battery.
The report and the images it includes reveal that the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra will be available in Bluetooth and Bluetooth + LTE variants.
