Fitness and activity tracking are among the most essential features of a smartwatch. Most smartwatches and fitness trackers nudge you to get up from time to time, take the stairs, and do some activities through daily activity alerts. However, alerts can sometimes irritate you, and Samsung will soon offer more control over them by letting you turn off Daily Activity Alerts with One UI 6 Watch.

One UI 6 Watch to bring Daily Activity Alert controls to Galaxy Watches

With One UI 6 Watch, Samsung is offering the option to turn off Daily Activity Alerts. There is a new toggle called Daily Activity Alerts, and you can disable it to turn off those pesky alerts. This feature is available on all Galaxy Watches that are running Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch Beta. Those Galaxy Watches are listed below.

Even though the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra run One UI 6 Watch out of the box, this new option isn't available on those smartwatches. So, it seems like they will get it with a future software update. Reddit user Enjinr claims that they haven't received any Daily Activity Alert notifications since they turned them off.

The story continues after our Galaxy Watch Ultra review video below.

The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5 have already received four One UI 6 Watch beta updates, while the Galaxy Watch 6 series has received five One UI 6 Watch beta updates. It is possible that Samsung will release the stable One UI 6 Watch update to those smartwatches in the next few weeks.
