The company has released the latest security patch to the Galaxy Xcover 5 in various Asian and European countries. The update could expand to even more markets over the next few days.
The Galaxy Xcover 5 is getting the new software update with firmware version G525FXXS3AUH1. It includes the August 2021 security patch, which means it fixes 40 vulnerabilities related to user privacy and data security. It might also include other bug fixes and device stability improvements. The update is currently rolling out in the following regions:

If you are a Galaxy Xcover 5 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can get the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install on your smartphone. You can also flash the firmware manually after downloading the latest firmware file from our firmware database.
The Galaxy Xcover 5 was launched in March 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3, and it will get at least two major Android OS updates in the future.
