Samsung is the only major smartphone brand that consistently launches extremely rugged smartphones and tablets. These devices are typically used in field work, industries, and factories. The company's next rugged phone will reportedly be the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, and its design and specifications have now been leaked.
Galaxy XCover 7 Pro design looks just like Galaxy XCover 7
The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro's (model number SM-G766B) design was revealed through the phone's leaked renders published by YTechB. If this image is accurate, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro should look extremely similar to the Galaxy XCover 7, featuring a rugged polycarbonate body, thick bezels, a grippy design on the back, and a waterdrop-shaped display notch for the front-facing camera.

As you can notice in the leaked image above, the Galaxy XCover 7 appears to have a dual-camera setup on the back. The phone also has an XCover Key on the right side. It is likely that the key can be assigned for barcode scanning, launching specific apps, or Push-to-Talk. It probably has a removable back and an easily replaceable battery.
Based on the shape of the battery icon, the phone also appears to be running One UI 7.0 out of the box.
Leaked Galaxy XCover 7 Pro specifications
According to a report from AndroidHeadlines, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro specifications include a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop-shaped notch. It reportedly features a 13MP front-facing camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
It is said to come equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 2TB). The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is expected to be powered by a 4,350mAh battery and support 15W wired charging. It reportedly has an IP68 rating and an MIL-STD-810H-rated design for shock resistance. It could be priced at €599 in Europe and launch later this month.
So, compared to the Galaxy XCover 7, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro should offer an additional camera, massively improved performance, and a bigger battery.
