A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Samsung could release the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in October. Well, the South Korean firm has released the One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 get One UI 6.0 beta update in South Korea
The One UI 6.0 beta update is now live (via SamLover) for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in South Korea. If you want to beta-test One UI 6.0 on your phone, you need to install the Samsung Members app on your phone, log in to the app using your Samsung account, and then tap on the One UI 6.0 Beta Program banner on the home screen of the Samsung Members app. Once the registration is done, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
One UI 6.0 is a major update, so it will have a huge download size of close to 3GB. So, make sure that your Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 3 has enough storage space left to download the beta update.
Samsung has brought several new design changes and features with the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update. Some of those new design changes and features include a completely new Quick Panel, a slightly improved notifications design, a brand new design for the media player widget in the notifications area, and more clock fonts for the locks screen.
