The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting the new security update in the US with firmware version F711USQS6HXAF, and it is available on Metro PCS and T-Mobile networks. The factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting the new update, and it has arrived with firmware version F711U1UES6HXAC.
The carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 now has access to the February 2024 security update in the US. It comes with firmware version F926USQS5HXAC and is available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks in the country. Both these phones are getting small updates that only include the February 2024 security patch that aims to fix 72 security flaws that were discovered in the previous software version.
If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and live in the US, you can now check for the new software update on your device. To do that, you can open the Settings app on your phone, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the appropriate firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Both foldable smartphones were launched with Android 11 onboard and received the Android 14 update a couple of months ago.
