Earlier today, Samsung released the November 2022 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Now, the South Korean firm has released its newest security update to its third-generation Galaxy Z foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711U1TBS3EVJ2, and it is available for the unlocked model in the US. For the unlocked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the new security update comes with firmware version F926U1TBS2DVJ1. For both foldable phones, the update is available on almost all carrier networks in the US. The November 2022 security update fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.
If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the US with an unlocked version, you can download the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung debuted the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 together last year with Android 11-based One UI 3.1.1 onboard. Earlier this year, both devices received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update. They will get at least two more Android OS updates and four years of security updates in the future.
