Samsung is rolling out the October 2022 security patch to the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US. However, there’s no information yet if the update brings any new features or improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3 user on the T-Mobile network, you can get the update by going to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the update from our firmware database and flash it manually. Don't forget to back up all your data before flashing the phone manually.
The carrier-unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the US and the international version of the foldable got the October 2022 security patch a couple of days ago. Expect the update to reach other regions by the end of this month.
