Today, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are available for purchase in 40 countries worldwide. By October, they will go on sale in 130 countries around the world.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a starting price of $999 in the US, £949 in the UK, and €1,049 in Europe. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 starts at $1,799 in the US, £1,599 in the UK, and €1,799 in Europe. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes in as many as seven colors: Cream, Green, Grey, Lavender, Phantom Black, Pink, and White. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes in three colors: Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver. Samsung is also offering attractive trade-in deals and benefits with its new foldable smartphones. The company also has attractive financing schemes and carrier deals.
Samsung says that pre-orders for its new foldable phones have broken all records. In South Korea, pre-orders have reached a million units. In the US, pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 surpassed the total sales of the Galaxy Z series this year. In India, pre-orders for the new foldable phones are 3x compared to the Galaxy Note 20 series.
Those who pre-ordered the Galaxy Z Flip 3 or the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are eligible to get a free one-year membership to Samsung Care+, which includes one free screen replacement in case of screen damage. The two phones are stronger and lighter than their predecessors, and they also come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance. These features should help improve the adoption of Samsung's foldable phones.
